Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Kharagpur is a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. This Vidyalaya was established in the year 1986. It is a full-fledged school running with all three streams (Science, Humanities and Commerce) at +2 level.
